Bisbee turquoise comes from the historic copper-mining district around Bisbee in southeastern Arizona, most notably the Lavender Pit. It is prized for its saturated medium to deep blue color, often contrasted by smoky chocolate-brown, reddish-brown or black matrix that can form bold webs and cloudlike patterns. The turquoise was found in limited quantities during copper mining, which ended at the Lavender Pit in 1974. With no current production, Bisbee remains one of the most sought-after American turquoises.

Stabilized for durability and color retention over time, and backed for additional stability while setting and wearing.
