High Grade Ridge turquoise comes from the Royston mining district near Tonopah, Nevada. The material is known for saturated blues and greens, often set against bold chocolate-brown or black host-rock matrix. I purchased this rough directly from the Otteson family at the Tucson Gem Show.

Natural and untreated; backed for stability while setting and wearing. Some natural surface pitting that does not affect stability.
