Apache Blue turquoise comes from a small Otteson family claim near Tonopah, Nevada. Its intense blue color is often cut by tight black spiderweb matrix, sometimes joined by brown or red webbing, creating the dramatic contrast for which the mine is known. Limited production and strong natural color have made Apache Blue a particularly desirable Nevada turquoise. I purchased this rough directly from the Otteson family, who own and mine the claim.

Natural and untreated, and backed for additional stability while setting and wearing.
