Blue Moon turquoise comes from a small Otteson family claim in Esmeralda County, Nevada, near the Royston mining district. It is known for colors ranging from clear light blue to deep blue, along with polychrome combinations of blue, green, yellow and orange, often crossed by brown or black matrix. After several years without production, the Ottesons returned to the mine in summer 2026. I purchased this newly mined material directly from the family.

Natural and untreated, and backed for additional stability while setting and wearing.
