Iron Maiden turquoise comes from a relatively new Otteson family mine in the Candelaria Hills of central Nevada. The material is known for its unusually broad range of color, including sky blue, blue-green, deep green and occasional golden or lavender tones, often crossed by brown, red or dark host-rock matrix. I purchased beautiful this rough directly from the Otteson family, who own and mine the claim.

Natural and untreated, and backed for additional stability while setting and wearing.
