This Sunset River Hubei turquoise cabochon comes from the Zhushan mining area of Hubei, China. Sunset River is a classification given to Zhushan turquoise with a particular combination of color and matrix. Strong blue or teal turquoise blooms, sometimes crossed by warm orange, yellow, or reddish-brown limonite, creating the contrast that gives the material its name.

Natural and untreated, and backed for strength.
