Sonoran Gold turquoise is mined near Cananea in northern Sonora, Mexico. Unlike turquoise formed in veins, it is typically recovered as individual nuggets from clay deposits. The material is known for its distinctive blend of aqua blue and vivid green, often crossed by golden-brown matrix.
